Suffering

Neither explained

And neither removed

No surprise to the pain

When suffering ensues

When I look at the cross

And I see how you suffered

When I said yes to You Jesus

I knew life would get tougher

No pity I feel

And my hope not far gone

When true love is fulfilled

 In my Lord, I’ll hold on

I’ll accept all the trials

Knowing this isn’t the end

Focused all awhile

In Jesus my friend

For He was here through it all

When I felt all alone

And when I was falling apart

He was making me whole

So the next time I’m here

My faith will not bend

For resurrection is near

By His grace, I’ll ascend

Its where my focus begins

And fears come to an end
