Holy Spirit
Come to the core
Of my soul, my mind,
My heart, a shore
To a drifter, who’s
Lost out at sea
Surrounded by waves
Yearning to be seen
From confusion of length
Of distance and scope
When all seems so far
When I lose sight of hope
Come Holy Spirit
Bring me up to the sky
Multiple the directions
To the one who can fly
Reaching out to new lands
Thought impossible to behold
As I’m holding The hand
Of my all-powerful Lord
Give me strength, give me courage
Give what You will
Move me up to new places
So that I can be filled
I started in water
And sent high up above
And brought down to the earth
To the ones whom You love
This journey You sent me
I truly believe
From my head to my heart
Was for me to be free
