Indifference

I cry to you like a child
As an infant cries to His Father

I too cry in despair
In times when I’ve hit rock bottom

And the pressure’s more than I can bare
Yet on somedays, I care not to bother

Indifference is what hurts You the most
Too numb to feel whenever You’re close

I don’t want to live, a life lived in vain
I want my life in You, in my joy and in my pain
