Surrender the Sword

This battle I fought

For so many years

Victory that I sought

I see disappear 

Results are not shown

At the front of this fight

Because I sat on the throne

That was meant for my Christ

No strength that I have

Jesus take the reigns

I give all that I am

So that You can take my place

I surrender the sword

And replace with a shield

Of an all loving Lord

To conquer my fears
