Coming down under
This terrible pain
Emotional hunger
And physical strain
Sweating the water
That quenches my thirst
My body gets hotter
And the feeling gets worse
Vision so deceptive
Can’t tell what is real
The lost of perception
Unable to feel
My Lord come and save me
From moments distress
And provide me with Your peace
In this internal unrest
